BIOGRAPHY

Angela Marie Hurst

Angela Marie Hurst began dancing with the Jouavel School of Arts at the age of six and played Young Nala in the London production of The Lion King aged ten.
After studying PR and journalism at Westminster University, Angela Marie Hurst continued her professional dance training in ballet and contemporary dance at Lewisham College and the London Studio Centre, from which she graduated with a degree in theatre dance in 2012. In 2015 she further perfected her training at the Fundação Cultural do Estado da Bahia in Brazil.
Angela Marie Hurst is a dancer, singer, teacher and choreographer, working in contemporary dance, musical theatre, commercials and physical theatre. Her credits include The Lion King, Chase & Status, Fuse ODG, Holly Blakey, Guinness (advert), Soul Legends and The Magic of Motown concert tours, Ivan Blackstock, Just Us Dance Theatre, Far From the Norm Company and the Union Dance Company.
