ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

Martha C. Nussbaum is the Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics at the University of Chicago. She studied and taught classical philology at Harvard, was previously Professor of Philosophy, Classics, and Comparative Literature at Brown University, and has served, among other appointments and fellowships, as a research advisor at the World Institute for Development Economics Research (a division of the United Nations University) in Helsinki. She is one of the most renowned philosophers of our time and the recipient of numerous honours and awards, including the 2012 Prince of Asturias Award for Social Science and the 2016 Kyoto Prize in Arts and Philosophy.
