ABOUT THE PRODUCTION
Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fidelio and Giuseppe Verdi’s Il trovatore for young audiences – does that work? The children and teenagers participating in the two one-week Opera Camps present their own versions of these operas. After a week of having studied the music and plot, the figures and their feelings, they bring to the stage what has impressed, touched or astonished them about these two operas. As musicians, singers, actors and set designers, they summarise the two opera plots, giving the audience a lasting impression in no time!
