For our youngest audiences – as well as for their adult companions – we have two operatic masterpieces in this year’s repertory. Both works will be shortened to around seventy minutes each and we guarantee that they will be easy to understand. The main parts are cast with singers from the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project, who tell their exciting stories in spoken dialogue interspersed with their most beautiful arias, which they sing to an orchestral accompaniment and with dazzling stage effects. This is the ideal starting point for any family wanting to delve more deeply into the fascinating world of opera!
