ABOUT THE PRODUCTION

Philippe Jaroussky has met with success upon international opera and concert stages, his recordings have won numerous awards and audiences celebrate him as a vocal phenomenon: the young French countertenor studied violin, piano and composition before taking up vocal studies in 1996.
In recent years, he has performed frequently with the Ensemble Matheus, having found an equally gifted musical partner in Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
